The cutoff percentage differs for each institute and is influenced by factors such as the number of students, the difficulty level of the exam, and the availability of seats.

Following the release of the CAT results, each participating institute determines its own cutoff percentile for admission to their management programs. The best IIMs often set their cutoff percentile between 90 and 99 percentile, whereas other prominent institutes may have a cutoff percentile ranging from 80 to 90 percentile.
